If you have someone who has a good concept of the Gospel and what it means to be a disciple, you may decide you can skip the first few sections and start deeper. This would likely be someone more in the child stage. Here you can start truly equipping followers of Christ. Before you move to this section, be sure to ask pertinent questions to ensure you disciple is ready to move on. They should be able to share the Gospel in their own words by this point. You may feel its necessary to go back and recover a couple topics before you move to the equipping stage.
The 2nd stage focuses on who we are as disciples of Jesus and who God is. Here we get a deeper understanding of who we are called to be and Who is the one calling us.
