Konnection Kids

Konnection Kids is the children’s ministry at Connection Church Millen for children aged 8 weeks to 5th grade. Parents, we want you to feel comfortable leaving your children with us. We want to provide safe, fun, and inviting environments where the Bible is taught creatively in a way they can understand. We want your child to have a growing relationship with us, their friends, and especially Jesus!

It's my first time here

Once you arrive, let one of our Connectors (what we call our volunteers) know that it's your first time with us, and they'll help you check in your child! After you check in, a connector will walk with your to take your child to their appropriate classroom based on age or grade level. Be sure to label and leave and supplies your child might need during class (bottle, cup, diaper, comfort items, bags, etc.). If your child is having a hard time adjusting, you are welcome to stay to help them adapt. Kids play and get to know each other until around 11:00 am when their lessons start. Once service is dismissed, take your security tag to your child's classroom, and give it to the connector at the door. They'll take your tag (unless you have children in multiple classrooms) and your child's name tag signifying that they have been checked out.

If you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We're here to make every experience with Konnection Kids the best it can be for you and your children!

Who's teaching my children?

Our Connectors are the primary people teaching your children about Jesus. Every Connector is screened with an interview and a federal background check. If you're as passionate about investing in children as we are, sign up to become a Connector today!

What's the check-in process?

When you check-in, you will receive a set of security tags for you and your child. Your child will wear the tag with his or her name on it and you will keep the other. You will need your tag after the service when checking your child out. No child can be released without a security tag. If you are needed for some reason during the service, your child's security number will appear on the screen in the auditorium.

Sickness Policy

In order to ensure that all of our children are in a safe and healthy environment, please do not bring sick or contagious children. Some signs of sickness include: a fever over 100 degrees, diarrhea, persistent runny nose with green or yellow discharge, earache, soar throat, lethargy, hacking or wet-sounding cough, vomiting, or any sort of skin rash. Your child needs to be symptom free without any medications for a minimum of 24 hours or whatever recommendations your doctor may suggest before joining us.

What to bring

If your child is aged 8 weeks to 4 years old, you are welcome to bring a diaper bag with a labeled bottle or spill-proof cup, diapers, pacifier, change of clothes etc. If you are in the early stages of potty training, please make sure they are wearing a diaper or pull up and let us know how we can help!
