Our Mission:

We want to connect people to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ

The mission of the universal Church is to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked. If God’s mission is to be glorified through the redemption and reconciliation of a people, then the Church’s mission must be to connect people to a growing relationship with Jesus. It is only through Jesus that we will ever be redeemed or reconciled with God.

The mission of the Church is highlighted in 2 Corinthians 5. As those who have been reconciled to God through the gospel of Jesus Christ, we are now ambassadors of reconciliation to a lost and broken world. We plead, urge, implore, reason, pray, serve, preach, teach and gather to see God glorified through reconciliation.

At Connection Church Millen, this mission is best displayed in our Connect Groups, where we believe real life-change happens.

Keep it Simple

When Connection Church Millen first began, we decided to always keep Jesus the main thing. In doing so, we’ve been able to see our ministry flourish in ways we could never have dreamed. Keeping our vision simple is incredibly important, and Acts 2:42-47 gives us a perfect illustration of how any church should function. That scripture fuels our four areas of ministry: Sunday services, Connect Groups, Kids and Student Ministries, and Missions and Outreach.

Gatherings

We believe that Sunday mornings should be a time that we celebrate what God has been doing in us throughout the week. Our Sunday morning Gatherings are a time we worship, teach, and spend time in prayer together. Our gatherings are not our primary focus of ministry, but complimentary.
